Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
Handle liability injury claims, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns
Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue
Conduct investigative work and make appropriate liability determinations
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
What is Required (Qualifications):
2+ years of casualty claims experience or a minimum of 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of commercial claims experience
High School diploma/GED or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P’C insurance industry
Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment
Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong computer navigation abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
3+ years of casualty claims handling experience
Prior experience with commercial policies
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area
Flexibility to work any shift during operating hours, including evenings and weekends
Excellent communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds
