Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision
Handle all aspects of liability injury claims, including coverage, liability, and damage concerns
Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue as needed
Conduct investigative work and make appropriate liability determinations based on evidence gathered
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds, claimants, or representatives of injured parties
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 2 years of Casualty claims experience or 2 years of claims experience including 1+ year of Commercial claims experience
High School diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years experience in a Casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Required to acquire and/or maintain multiple Adjuster’s Licenses within the first 90 days of employment or job transfer
Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong computer navigation abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
3+ years of Casualty claims handling experience
Prior experience with Commercial policies
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area
Flexibility to work various shifts during operating hours, including evenings and/or weekends
Excellent communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds
