The ideal candidates will have a strong background in precision machining, an eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts to exact specifications. ***Openings for both 1st and 2nd shifts!*****Your Challenge:*** Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Kitamura & Fadal) performing precision machining to tolerances within 0.001”* Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T* Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed* Monitor machine performance and make corrections to maintain tolerances* Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators)* Maintain clean and organized work area* Work collaboratively with programming and quality departments**Your Expertise:*** 3+ years of experience operating CNC milling machines, preferably Kitamura and/or Fadal* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and G-code* Strong understanding of machining best practices and materials* Familiarity with conversational controls and/or Fanuc preferred* Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail* Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods* Must be a Sole US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance**#LI-SW1****Who We Are:****Curtiss-Wright Steam & Air Solutions (SAS),** a business unit of Curtiss-Wright, designs, manufactures, tests and provides - Navy steam turbines and steam valves, nuclear steam turbines, and aftermarket steam parts, upgrades, and overhauls.Located in Summerville SC, this brand new state-of-the-art facility is approximately 134,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing in relations to machining, welding, assembly and quality inspections.*No unsolicited agency submittals please.
