Job Summary:
We are seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team at Payne Weslaco Motors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Certification from an accredited automotive technical school or equivalent experience. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and general repairs on customer vehicles. Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues. Inspect vehicles and provide accurate estimates for repairs. Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle needs. Keep work area clean and organized. Stay current with technological changes in the automotive industry. Additional Requirements:
ASE certification preferred. Prior experience working in an automotive repair shop. Willingness to continue training and education in automotive technology. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment. Excellent customer service skills. Strong communication skills and a team player mentality. Age and License Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 consecutive years. Must have or be able to get a Texas driver's license. Must have a clean driving record.
