Overview
Elliot is seeking a mechanic to perform regular maintenance, assembly, diagnostics, and related tasks for machinery, systems, and vehicles. The role supports electrical and mechanical services across overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, and related operations. Responsibilities
Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and automotive vehicles, including tires and tracks Assemble mechanical components according to the manufacturer\'s specifications Examine machines and perform diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary Perform vehicle/equipment assessments and alert appropriate parties on issues that may prevent operation or passing inspections Perform DOT inspections Qualifications
Minimum of four years’ experience Must provide own tools Willingness to work as a team Experience in electrical, hydraulics, and diesel preferred Must have or be eligible to obtain a Class A CDL within 12 months 40+ hours per week expected Benefits/Culture
