Read drawing plans and operate the Press Brake control panel. Ensure precision in operations, as being off by millimeters could lead to critical errors. Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches. Adjust ram and back gauge locations according to process control instructions and blueprints. Use micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments to check height, depth, and thickness. Configure equipment, calibrate gauges, recognize die conditions, load material, feed material through die, and position/remove parts from die. Maintain records of production and routine equipment maintenance. Read work schedules to determine production details such as size, type, and quantity. Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma (preferred). 1-3 years of experience in the field or related area. Familiarity with CNC controls. Basic math skills. Attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits
