Kilgore, a Summit Materials company, is looking for an Aggregate Plant Maintenance/Mechanic. This position is responsible for maintenance, mechanical repair and troubleshooting of our various aggregate plants.
Overnight shift, 6pm-6am Mon‑Wed.
This position will travel to several aggregate sites through Salt Lake and Utah County, so a valid MVR is necessary.

Responsibilities
Maintenance activities including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment repairs and installations to ensure maximum uptime and productivity
Responsible for optimizing maintenance costs
Responsible for preventative, predictive and corrective plant equipment maintenance reviews operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate problems and to identify opportunities for improvement
Looks for ways to improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs
Will travel to sites throughout Salt Lake and Utah Valley
Skills and Qualifications
Previous welding experience
General knowledge of working around large aggregate mines, and equipment
Candidates must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment, exposed to weather elements, some noise; must have ability to work independently and problem-solve while working alone or as part of a team
Great attention to detail and have a high stress tolerance
