A well-established firm specializing in landscape architecture, civil engineering, and surveying is seeking a full-time
Survey Crew Chief / Technician . This role is a key opportunity for an experienced field professional looking to lead survey operations on a variety of exciting projects across the state. You’ll work alongside senior staff and contribute to meaningful infrastructure and development initiatives. Duties
Collaborate with senior design staff, licensed surveyors, and project managers on the creation of accurate survey documents.
Conduct topographic surveys and utility mapping.
Serve as the lead field crew member for construction staking operations.
Support boundary and easement assessments.
Operate advanced field equipment, including GPS units and Robotic Total Stations.
Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Willingness and ability to travel for fieldwork within the state.
Demonstrated proficiency with modern survey equipment and/or drafting/design software.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in surveying or construction staking preferred.
Associate degree or relevant field experience preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients and contractors.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
