Our client, a rapidly growing marine distributor and service provider with over 60 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Marine Mechanic / Marine Service Technician for their Foley, Alabama location. Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair
outboard engines
(Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Suzuki)
Troubleshoot
marine electrical, A/C, D/C, and generator systems
(Kohler, Onan, Phasor, etc.)
Install and repair
electronics
including radar, sonar, autopilot, and NMEA networks
Maintain
hydraulic steering, refrigeration, and plumbing systems
Perform light fiberglass and cosmetic repairs as needed
Ensure clean, safe, and professional jobsite conduct
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Marine Mechanic, Marine Technician, or Service Technician
Certified outboard mechanic preferred
Working knowledge of high-end boats and yachts a plus
Must have personal hand tools (specialty tools provided)
Physically able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
