Administrative Jobs in Institutional & Business Affairs, Auxiliary Services. Full-time position based at OSU-Stillwater. Responsibilities

Installation and alteration of new and existing electrical systems and equipment. Repair and maintenance of all types of interior and exterior electrical systems and equipment. Repair and maintenance of all types of motor and motor controllers. Installation, repair, and maintenance of primary high voltage distribution systems (overhead and underground). Be on rotating standby for emergencies after 5 p.m. weekdays, weekends, and holidays; overtime and shift work as required by management. Provide own basic hand tools and maintain them in good working order. Perform snow and ice removal tasks and respond to schedules set by management; work as needed during projects and emergencies, including nonbusiness hours. Work may involve exposure to hazards (noise, wet vaults, tunnels, rain, snow, dusty conditions) and physical demands (lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, more than 50 pounds occasionally). Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses, etc.). Possess or obtain required certifications, licenses, and training as outlined in the qualifications. Qualifications

Required Qualifications: High School/GED (degree conferred on or before start date). Distribution Electrician I–IV: progressive years of electrical or powerline experience (I: 2 years; II: 4 years; III: 6 years; IV: 10 years). Experience operating heavy equipment (minimum of one year). Post-secondary education may substitute for experience; preference given to electrical or mechanical fields. Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: OSU trenching/shoring and confined space entry techs (I–III within 6 months; IV certification as specified); Class B CDL within 12 months; valid driver’s license for OSU vehicle operation. Skills/Proficiencies: ability to perform preventative maintenance, asset inventory (AiM CMMS), exterior lighting and secondary voltage work, distribution system repair, reading blueprints/engineer specs, and knowledge of energy services facilities; ability to interpret codes; ability to become proficient with AiM CMMS and mobile tech. IV level: capability to oversee PM standards, excavation permits, material procurement, and duties of an Assistant Supervisor; same code interpretation and CMA/CMMS proficiency. Preferred Qualifications: Vocational/Technical Journeyman Level Electrical, Electronic, Line Man, Motor Repair, or Data Technician. Organization
