A&G Machine is seeking an experienced Tool Crib Attendant to support our Tool Crib Lead by providing cutting tools and supplies to multiple plants. We are a private, family-oriented company with over 40 years of sustained successful operations, retaining the best talent in the industry.
Job Description
Work within a safety and metric-focused environment.
Orders, receives, stores, and issues tool holders and cutting tools to appropriate CNC machine resources.
Monitor job queue to identify, prioritize, and supplement tooling needs.
Maintain tool holder and cutting tool inventory within the computer system.
Read and understand CNC machine set-up instructions to identify tool list.
Set up traditional and advanced CNC machine tool holders with cutting tools
Use the shrink-fit machine to set up tools.
Use measuring equipment like a micrometer or caliper to measure cutting tools.
Keep up on cutting-tool technology advancements through relationships with outside vendors.
Minimum Qualifications
Inventory control: 1 year (Required)
Aerospace: 1 year (Required)
High School Diploma
Previous experience in the Tool Crib or Inventory Materials
Previous machining experience
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Tool crib attendants must have organizational skills to keep accurate records of tool locations, scheduled repairs, and maintenance.
Ability to work unsupervised and make simple decisions.
Basic computer skills are necessary for the position to transact tools and materials in the system and maintain inventory records.
Microsoft Excel competency.

Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
