The Social Work department is open 24 hours/day and provides coverage throughout the hospital including the Emergency Department, Outpatient Clinics, Registration sites, and Health Information Management.
Responsibilities
Provides direct clinical services to patients and families.
Plans and implements social work services on assigned unit in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Collaborates with community human service agencies to meet the needs of patients, families, and the hospital.
Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree in Social Work.
No experience required.
No supervisor experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in a hospital social work setting.
Illinois state social work license or ability to pass the Illinois license exam within 90 days of employment.
