The Apartment Maintenance Technician reports to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for assisting with the physical and mechanical upkeep of the property.
Responsibilities:
Promptly fulfill customer service requests
Conduct daily rounds to check mechanical equipment, recreational facilities, and safety concerns
Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and heating system repairs
Prepare and turn over vacant units/suites
Maintain grounds and common areas
Perform light carpentry, drywall repairs, and touch-up painting
Assist with after-hours "on call" duties as assigned
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the property
Address safety hazards immediately (fire alarms, trip hazards, etc.)
Support the Facilities Manager to ensure property success
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma
HVAC certification
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
Excellent diagnostic skills
Strong customer service skills
Attention to detail and urgency in completing tasks
Ability to follow instructions efficiently
Friendly, professional attitude with prospects, residents, and colleagues
