When you join as a Cake Decorator, you will work collaboratively with other associates to meet member expectations and drive service within the bakery area. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
Base pay range:
$17.00/hr – $24.00/hr.
Position Summary: As a Cake Decorator you will deliver to members more of what they love, for less. Your responsibilities include:
Be a Team Member – Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates, maintain inventory, ensure customer service flexibility, and control shrinkage.
Be an Expert – Plan bakery productions, ensure consistent quality and accurate decorative designs, adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold chain, inventory management, and equipment upkeep.
Be a Techie – Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve experience, engage associates, and make business decisions related to production and ordering.
Be an Owner – Drive bakery performance, meet quality and date control standards, eliminate waste, prepare for seasonal events, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
Be a Talent Ambassador – Advocate brand values, support training, mentor, and inspire team members in a respectful, supportive environment.
Comply with policies – Use the Open Door Policy, maintain high standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
Manage work assignments – Prioritize, collaborate, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities.
Respect diversity – Foster belonging, support all associates, and build strong relationships.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 6 months of experience in a Fresh Production Area.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cake decorating.
