Quarry Oaks Golf Club is seeking self-motivated, hardworking, and reliable individuals to join our team! The position involves mowing grounds and performing maintenance and landscaping projects of a public golf course. Candidates must adhere to Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. This is a part-time seasonal position, typically 20-40 hours per week during the golf season, with morning shifts between 6 AM and 11 AM available. Reliable attendance is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform grounds and landscape maintenance, including mowing lawns with riding or push mowers, trimming and edging around trees, shrubs, and other features, weeding, and cleaning flower beds using hand tools or equipment. Set up, adjust, repair, and clean irrigation systems. Maintain grounds maintenance equipment through routine and preventative maintenance, and clean tools and machines. Sharpen tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shears. Wear prescribed safety protective clothing, masks, gloves, and boots according to standards and conditions. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience
Previous knowledge or experience in basic lawn and landscape maintenance. Licenses
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the work site. Other Qualifications
Basic knowledge of lawn maintenance. Ability to operate rotary riding mowers and machine-driven push mowers. Ability to perform strenuous work under varying weather conditions. Flexibility to work the schedule required on a golf course to prepare for events and weather conditions. Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 25 pounds. Other Skills and Abilities
Effective communication and respectful interactions with colleagues, supervisors, and customers. Ability to follow simple instructions using common sense. Condition of Employment
