What You’ll Do as a Parts Warranty Coordinator As a Parts Warranty Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate warranty claims, handling parts returns, and supporting warranty processes from start to finish.
Responsibilities include
Interpret job folders to prepare timely and accurate Caterpillar warranty claims
Use Caterpillar systems such as SIS, DBS, SIMSI, SIB, and ADZ142 to gather required information
Document requested parts and prepare all “Send It Back” Cat parts returns for shipment
Register new machine and engine warranty coverage and maintain accurate delivery records
Respond quickly and accurately to warranty-related questions
Resolve warranty issues for shops, customers, and other Cat dealers
Maintain organized documentation and follow established warranty procedures
Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of warranty-related experience , or experience in construction, engine, or technical fields
Basic computer skills and 1–2 years of data entry experience
Working knowledge of
Microsoft Office
applications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Team-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable
Excellent customer service and communication skills
