Senior Diesel Mechanic – $2500 Annual Tool Allowance and $300 Annual Boot Allowance
Apply for the senior diesel/CNG mechanic position with WM. In this role you will maintain and repair diesel equipment and, at some sites, CNG trucks for a nationwide waste‑management fleet.

Schedule & Location
Monday – Friday every week
Second shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
No weekends
Worksite: repair/maintenance shop at the West Seneca, NY hauling site
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts
Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
Conduct safety checks on vehicles to ensure employee and community safety
Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times
Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate/OSHA standards and safety procedures
Qualifications
4+ years of relevant work experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Over 18 years of age
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
Successfully complete a pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam
