ROI Specialist

Job Summary Work with Meditech system regarding data entry, chart retrieval, tracking, submission, etc. Maintain confidentiality of patient information, communicate with payers, coordinate with clinical areas, and support mail and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
Data entry, chart retrieval, and chart tracking within Meditech system.
Respond promptly to inquiries from payers and maintain good relationships with departments.
Monitor RAC post office box and assist with daily mail duties.
Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical and Safety Requirements
Work seated at a computer monitor 95% of time; occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
Require normal visual and hearing ability; ability to walk, bend, and climb as needed.

Qualifications
High school graduation with advanced technical training; equivalent education or two years of hospital experience preferred.
Strong computer skills, detail oriented, and data analysis ability.
Effective oral and written communication skills, preferably in health-related or allied health sciences.
Knowledge of medical terminology, alphanumeric filing, release of information, and office equipment.
