As an Auto Mechanic Technician, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Reporting to the Garage Manager, you will utilize your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance to perform tasks such as oil changes and electrical system repairs. Responsibilities
Perform routine oil changes and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, utilizing mechanical knowledge and hand tools.
Conduct thorough inspections and alignments to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Utilize power tools for various repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Requirements
Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check.
At least two years of proven automotive repair mechanic experience or graduation from a trade school for mechanics.
Minimum of 3 years hands‑on experience or a combination of trade school and hands‑on experience.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on autos and trucks.
Mechanical knowledge for automotive electrical systems, engine and transmission replacements, and power train diagnostics.
Complete set of hand tools and a wheeled toolbox suitable for daily use.
