What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Oversee an assigned territory, driving profitable premium growth to achieve financial and operational goals
Collaborate with underwriters to direct sales pipeline activity and identify account leads
Create and implement effective agency strategies to maximize business flow and meet goals
Build and cultivate complex agency partnerships, providing training on products and services
Monitor agency performance and adjust plans based on production data and profitability
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or equivalent relevant work experience
Minimum of five years of experience in property and casualty underwriting, claims, sales territory development, or related fields
Strong knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle report
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Insurance designations such as CPCU or CIC, or an agent license
Advanced knowledge of independent agency operations and market conditions
Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong problem-solving abilities
Experience in sales and negotiating within the insurance industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
