Sam's Club Service Advisor
provides customer service and sales support in the Technical and Billing Center (TBC) area. The role includes a blend of hands‑on service, digital sales support, and team collaboration to achieve high quality customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
Be a Team Member – Collaborate with teammates to fulfill sales and service requests, educate associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians while developing interpersonal skills to provide safe and efficient customer service.
Be an Expert – Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS systems, product specifications, and seasonality. Also master point‑of‑sale systems, phone and in‑person selling techniques.
Be a Techie – Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology and systems to make real‑time decisions regarding services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training.
Be an Owner – Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain inventory accuracy, audit safety, and compliance standards; report complaints, safety hazards, and product issues; complete required documentation, packaging, labeling, and storage in accordance with policies.
Be a Talent Ambassador – Serve as a brand advocate by valuing the member’s experience, modeling high quality service and products, and inspiring others to work respectfully, supportively, and team‑oriented.
Compliance and Process – Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics, integrity, and the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments, prioritize tasks, collaborate with managers and stakeholders, and recommend improvement opportunities.
