SALARY RANGE:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Operates a single, tandem, or multi-axle truck for delivery and/or pick-up of agronomy, energy, or turf products, following specified schedules to/from company or customer locations to support profitable growth. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operates all assigned vehicles, including trucks with single, tandem, or multi-axle configurations, forklifts, etc., according to safety standards and proper operation techniques. Performs and records daily safety checks, including pre-trip inspections of fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes. Maintains a clean vehicle and follows preventive maintenance protocols. Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials safely, ensuring loads are balanced and compliant with DOT regulations. Delivers and picks up products on schedule, providing superior customer service and professionalism. Completes all documentation accurately, including bills of lading, delivery slips, and invoices, and submits them promptly. Maintains accurate logs and records of cargo and other duties as assigned. Maintains company equipment and adheres to uniform and professional standards. Performs warehouse duties during slow periods. Performs additional duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of related experience operating tractor-trailers and meeting company and DOT standards. Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development. Valid CDL with required endorsements, a medical card, and a clean driving record. Ability to work extended hours and on-call as needed. Must obtain and maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits. Physical requirements include exposure to extreme weather, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, working at heights, and lifting 51-70 lbs.
