Mechanical Engineer
to ensure client goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters within nuclear operations and engineering. The work will be performed in Oak Ridge, TN, with potentially some travel. Join us and love what you do. Minimum Requirements
Must have at least 5 years of design experience with HVAC.
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
Experience delivering a range of projects from concept through detailed design completion.
Competent in using discipline-specific technical software such as REVIT, Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE, PipeFlo, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and within the client organization.
U.S. Citizenship is required. No dual citizens or visas for this role, to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
PE license preferred.
NQA-1 experience.
Q clearance or eligibility to obtain a “Q”.
Experience working with teaming subcontractors to produce a consolidated design.
Previous DOE Nuclear project experience.
Current or former U.S. security clearance.
Residing within a commutable distance from our Oak Ridge, TN office.
Work Environment & Essential Functions Equipment and Machines: Standard office PC with required software. Building Information Management design software.
Attendance: On-site security training is mandatory before performing project duties. Timely response to issues is expected. Travel as needed.

U.S. Citizenship required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork.
Appropriate grooming and dress code, with safety considerations.
Must pass pre-employment drug and background checks.
