We’re expanding our website operations team and are looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional to manage product data and vendor communication for our online stores.
Position Overview The Product Data & Vendor Relations Specialist will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and maintaining product information from dozens of vendors. You’ll communicate directly with manufacturers and suppliers to collect product data, update pricing, manage discontinued items, and ensure new products are uploaded accurately to our website. This is a new position with room to evolve as our digital operations expand.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with vendors to obtain product data in Excel, CSV, or other formats
Reformat and clean data to match our internal templates for ERP and website uploads
Stay organized and follow up regularly with vendors to maintain accurate listings
Add new products, remove discontinued items, and update pricing
Verify that product listings display correctly on our website
Track and monitor performance in Google Merchant Center
Conduct competitive pricing research and monitor market trends
Scrape or extract data from vendor websites when needed
Collaborate with our website development and marketing teams to improve product presentation and accuracy
Implement AI based features to efficiently manage data and communications
Qualifications
Strong Excel and data management skills (formulas, cleanup tools)
Excellent organization and communication skills
Attention to detail and consistency in managing large datasets
Tech-savvy with ability to learn new systems quickly (experience with BigCommerce, SQL, or similar platforms is a plus)
Experience in e-commerce, vendor management, or data coordination preferred
Familiarity with Google Merchant Center or basic SEO concepts a plus
