Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate
Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
This role involves preparing fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and keeping rotisserie chicken ready and warm. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest items are available for members. You may juggle several tasks in a short time while assisting members with bakery orders. Your positive attitude helps create a great shopping experience.
What you'll do
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food, collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates, communicate effectively with team members, and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future and mass productions, prepare for seasonality, adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, manage inventory, operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; guide peers and respond to customer needs per company policies.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by delivering high-quality service and products, model the basics at the highest level, and demonstrate energy and commitment.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; follow Open Door Policy and apply these in daily business processes.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners; set priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
