About the Role LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Specialist with both a strong well rounded HR background including benefits to join our client's HR team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth administration and strategic analysis of our employee benefit programs. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional employee support.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and analyze health, welfare, leave of absence, and retirement programs.
Manage relationships with benefits vendors and third-party administrators.
Support the planning and execution of annual open enrollment.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and others.
Audit benefit data, invoices, and system integrations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Provide advanced support and education to employees and HR partners regarding benefit offerings.
Assist in developing and distributing benefit communications and reports.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration or analysis.
Strong understanding of federal and state benefit regulations.
Proficiency with HRIS and benefits platforms such as UKG, Workday, or similar systems.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
