Overview
DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, is recruiting for a Foot & Ankle Territory Manager. This role drives the planning, direction, and oversight of Foot & Ankle activities within a specific territory, ensures financial targets are achieved, and maximizes growth. Acts as a conduit between sales and marketing to execute strategy in partnership with Area Vice Presidents, Regional Managers, Distributors, and Marketing.

Our Orthopaedics teams support joint reconstruction, trauma, sports medicine, spine, robotics, and digital surgery. The Foot & Ankle Territory Manager will lead information and activities to drive sales, product launches, and education programs, while collaborating with R&D, Marketing, and Legal & Regulatory teams.

Key Responsibilities
Assess market trends, data, and business opportunities within the assigned area in the US.
Utilize data, insights, and relationships to develop a strategy and action plan with Regional Managers, Sales Consultants, and Distributors to execute this plan.
Provide clear direction, strategy, and leadership to Sales Consultants and Distributors to achieve Foot & Ankle sales goals.
Lead and implement Sales Education programs with Commercial Education to ensure compliant training on product use and sales skills.
Maintain a strong internal network across projects with R&D, Marketing, Legal, and Regulatory teams.
Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders.
Partner with the sales team to support existing users and convert competitive users.
Act as a clinical liaison between surgeons and DePuy Synthes departments.
Collaborate with Marketing and R&D on surgeon feedback, pricing, and marketing strategies; align field messaging and facilitate two-way information exchange.
Develop and communicate selling strategies for DPM/MD/DO surgeons with Professional Education.
Provide issue resolution and support for in-field challenges as needed.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree required (BA/BS).
Masters degree (MA/MS/MBA) highly preferred.
Experience And Skills:
Valid Driver’s License in the United States.
5+ years of Foot & Ankle and/or orthopedic experience.
5+ years of sales experience preferred.
Previous managerial or leadership experience preferred in portfolio or people management.
Strong strategic mindset and ability to identify market intelligence.
Entrepreneurial skills and ability to generate revenue opportunities.
Ability to work autonomously.
Location within 90 minutes of an airport in the assigned geography with 50-75% travel required within the US.
Strong written and verbal communication, and exceptional presentation skills.
Understanding of selling skills and DePuy Synthes global selling process; knowledge of compliance and regulatory policies.
Demonstrated expertise in product, clinical/surgical knowledge, and competitive landscape.
Strong collaboration and team-building skills; ability to lead and motivate through influence.
Compensation and Benefits The anticipated base pay range is
$114,000 to $182,850 . This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus according to applicable plans. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and retirement plans (401(k)).
Time Off and Benefits Details
Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year (Washington state residents: up to 56 hours)
Holiday pay, including floating holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
