in this role you will be a Benefits Account Manager for a client in the employee benefits industry. IN this role you will be responsible for managing broker relationships, evaluating renewals to determine rates and rate components, analyze carrier claims and utilization reports, and reporting all findings to brokers.
This is a direct hire role that the will be performed remotely.
The pay on this role is 60,000 to $65,000 + commission.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and/or applicable experience
5+ years of experience in employee benefits or health/ancillary insurance is required
Must be highly proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and macros), Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with market renewal for ancillary lines of coverage, and reviewing carrier proposals for accuracy
Ability to create finalized broker/employer presentations
Ability to handle claim, billing, commissions, and enrollment related service issues
5500 and other related compliance filings
Experience working with a marketing department to create overviews, answer benefit questions, handle service issues, benchmarking, HRIS support and implementation, and reivew contracts
