Brand Manager This position works out of our site in Baar in the Diabetes Care division.
To develop marketing strategies, using all elements of the marketing mix, including brand development with the aim of increasing sales.
Have a broad and deep product knowledge and be responsible for product trainings as appropriate.
Major Accountabilities
To localize global/EMEAP marketing strategy to match the position of the brand in Switzerland and maximize brand potential.
Input into developing plan to market product through the promotional campaigns, utilizing the full marketing mix as appropriate.
Develop or localize multichannel marketing projects in accordance with relevant functions.
Budget planning and tracking for ensuring promotional campaigns are within agreed spending limits and A&P reporting is accurate, incl. accruals, for owned projects.
Assist in preparing plan, LBE and LRP & S&OP as required.
Liaising closely and influencing the sales management, brand team and sales team to ensure promotional campaigns are developed on strategy and executed effectively.
Prepare, organize and conduct trainings to ensure sales teams are well trained and able to execute strategies effectively.
Liaising closely with all support functions (including Medical, Regulatory, Customer Services, Manufacturing, External Agencies and Global/EMEA Marketing).
Collating Competitor Intelligence from the market.
Reporting Marketing KPIs as deemed necessary by the ACH management team and Global/EMEAP Marketing.
Analyze KPIs to optimize campaigns and spendings/ROI
Creating or localizing marketing material: ensure marketing material is developed, approved and produced according to branding guidelines and approval processes.
Collaborating with external vendors and stakeholders regarding quotes, negotiations, contracts, POs.
Working with relevant leaders and managers as well as peers to create and track in-country marketing plans and to communicate to the commercial organisation as appropriate.
Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
Qualification
University degree in Marketing or Business or relevant experience
Languages: German (native), French (Good), English (good). Italian as a big plus.
At least 5 years Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device Industry experience
Minimum 3 years in Marketing and/or Sales including working with advertising/creative agencies
Experience of working with MS Office
Experience Preferred
Customer facing and/or sales experience in healthcare environment
Technical Skills / Training Required
Competent use of computers (spreadsheets, graphics package) incl. website management (e.g. AEM) and basic graphics design knowledge
Presentation, communication and motivational skills
Ability to build and maintain excellent level of product, sales and competition knowledge
Technical Skills / Training Preferred
Market research understanding
