Chief of Staff
About the Role
Hypha is a human-first, AI-native operating system designed to streamline how people work, think, and make decisions in the asset management and finance space. As we scale, we’re hiring a highly organized, detail-oriented Chief of Staff to support the CEO across communication, coordination, and execution. This role focuses heavily on written communication, project coordination, long-range planning, and supporting the CEO so he can operate at peak efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Executive Support & Workflow Management
Manage the CEO’s calendar and daily workflow with strong judgment around priorities.
Responsible for coordinating meeting logistics and ensuring the CEO is prepped with the right context.
Draft and edit emails, internal memos, announcements, and scripts for the CEO.
Draft LinkedIn posts, light thought‑leadership content, and short‑form updates.
Monitor action items from CEO meetings and ensure follow‑through.
Project & Operational Support
Coordinate small‑to‑medium cross‑team projects, timelines, and deliverables.
Set up lightweight systems for tracking tasks, workflows, and communications.
Assist with research, summarizing materials, and preparing briefing docs for product, investor, or partnership meetings.
Own operational tasks such as organizing documents, updating trackers, and supporting basic process improvements.
Communications & Content Support
Support the CEO in writing and publishing the company newsletter.
Help prepare slides, one‑pagers, and messaging for product updates or investor moments.
Edit or refine team‑wide communications to ensure tone, clarity, and alignment.
Events & Conference Planning
Manage long‑range planning for major industry conferences and opportunities (submissions, logistics, materials, travel coordination).
Organize internal team events, offsites, or leadership touchpoints as needed.
Core Capabilities
A strong writer who can communicate clearly, quickly, integrating the CEO’s pov.
Hyper‑organized and great at managing time, calendars, and competing priorities.
Proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate what’s needed before being asked.
Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast‑changing environment.
Interested in AI, finance, and the way technology is reshaping the industry.
Eager for exposure to strategy and operations over time.
Qualifications
3+ years in operations, project management, executive support, communications, or similar.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Familiarity with tools like Notion, Asana, Coda, Slack, Figma.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Bonus: experience in fintech, AI, financial services, or startup environments.
