Reporting to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing journey level work in the areas of Heating/Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Hot Water Supply, Plumbing, and Food Service Equipment. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Performing special repairs and assignments that are received by work orders from authorized personnel.

- Identifying the cause of a problem; determining materials and tools needed and method of repair; and carrying out repair procedures independently on most jobs.

- Performing scheduled maintenance functions as required and outlined in the preventative maintenance plans.

- Training and/or supervising the work of offender helpers.**Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences*** Working knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and/or equipment used in the operation, maintenance, and/or repair of industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.**Necessary Special Qualifications**:Requires current certification by the Environmental Protection Agency as a Type I, II, III or Universal technician as required by Title 40, Code of Federal Regulations part 82, subpart F.**This is a RE-POST of positions 60065448 and 60065554.
