We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our Charlotte, NC practice starting April or May 2026. You will provide tax compliance services to predominantly US-inbound international businesses (primarily German/European) in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Strong project management, multitasking, and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and results-driven.

What you will do:

Prepare predominantly Federal and state corporate, partnership, 1120-F permanent establishment, and, to a lesser degree, individual tax returns

Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal, state, and international tax topics

Assist with the preparation of income tax provisions for corporate taxpayers under ASC740

Provide timely and high-quality services and deliverables that exceed client expectations

Maintain active communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction

Prepare clear, concise work papers and other communications

Train junior staff on completing engagement work and other tasks

Perform a light, first‑round review before more senior reviews

What you need to bring:

2‑4 years of professional Federal and state income tax experience, including experience in public accounting

BA/BS degree in Accounting or Masters degree in Accounting/Taxation

CPA license or similar certification preferred

Experience in the Manufacturing & Distribution industry

Excellent research, writing, and communication skills in English

Process‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Solid organizational skills with the ability to multitask

Positive team player attitude

Desired Qualifications:

ProSystem fx Engagement experience

CCH Axcess Tax experience

German writing and communication skills are an advantage but not required
