PRIORITY CARES HOME SERVICES
Role Summary:
The Construction Inspector performs daily field inspections to ensure that all work meets contract requirements, specifications, and safety regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Inspect construction work for conformance with approved drawings and materials.
Verify
quantities, dimensions, and pay items
for contractor invoices.
Document field activities, test results, and material deliveries.
Report deficiencies, safety hazards, or non-compliance issues immediately.
Coordinate with testing labs and the Resident Engineer.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or associate degree
in construction or engineering-related field.
5+ years of experience
in roadway or municipal construction inspection.
NICET Level II or III
certification in Transportation/Highway Construction required.
Familiarity with
NJDOT materials testing and documentation procedures .
OSHA 10-Hour certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.
Compensation: $80.00 per hour
