High-volume law firm seeks a Legal Billing Specialist to manage the full client billing lifecycle, including e-billing, compliance with client guidelines, and collections support.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, edit, and submit client invoices via e-billing portals (Tymetrix, Legal Tracker, Collaborati).
Ensure compliance with client outside counsel guidelines, LEDES formatting, and UTBMS task codes.
Handle pre-bill edits, write-offs, and split billing arrangements.
Reconcile trust accounts, apply retainers, and track accruals.
Generate aging reports and assist with collections follow-up.
Support month-end close and audit requests.
Qualifications:
3+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm.
Proficiency with Elite 3E, Aderant, or similar billing systems.
Experience with major e-billing vendors and LEDES formats.
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
