Director, People Operations| Senior HR Business Partner Financial One Accounting, Inc. is expanding its Human Resources services to non-profit organizations! We're looking for a strong HR Generalist to join the team. Candidates must have experience in a wide range of HR disciplines including recruiting, compensation, HRIS system administration (ADP WFN preferred), benefits administration, and employee relations and be passionate about working with and delivering quality HR services to non-profit organizations.
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, uses specialized knowledge, education and experience in a variety of human resources related areas to provide HR generalist support to Financial One Accounting, Inc. Facilitates and coordinates the position advertising and recruitment process from start through onboarding; works with technical subject matter experts to identify and/or design and administer effective training programs and content; and participates in benefits administration. Leads defined work or projects of moderate scope and complexity. High level guidance is provided to perform varied work that may be somewhat difficult in character requiring some evaluation, originality and ingenuity. Resolves or recommends solutions to complex problems. Extensive contact with internal and external individuals is required to meet goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit, assess, and select high-quality candidates.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and team needs; identify successful candidate knowledge, skills and experience, and develop search strategies accordingly.
Build diverse applicant sourcing through research, outreach, networking, and partnering with multiple sourcing channels including job boards, social media and community partners.
Ensure proper applicant pools are generated and communicated to hiring manager.
Participate in applicant pre-screening process; identify candidates for further consideration.
Research and execute multiple sourcing opportunities for active and passive candidates.
Identify and establish community and industry partnerships to enhance sourcing opportunities.
Maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Coordinate and conduct assessment processes related to various positions within the organization.
Coordinate offer process, background screening, and the new hire onboarding process including the completion of all new hire “paperwork” and all coordination with internal and external onboarding partners.
Act as the primary point of contact for new hires during their onboarding period.
Maintain and analyze recruitment data from start to hire and make recommendations for better efficiency and effectiveness in the overall recruiting and selection process.
Regularly evaluate outreach and sourcing performance and monitor progress on requisitions.
Regularly review and evaluate the recruitment and onboarding process including actively seeking feedback from managers and new hires to gauge and improve the onboarding process.
Utilize applicant tracking system to track applicant status from application through the hiring process. Maintain data integrity within the applicant tracking system including requisition and applicant status.
Assist in the training of hiring managers on usage of applicant tracking system.
Provide updates on recruitment and onboarding efforts including sourcing effectiveness, recruitment progress and onboarding schedule.
Serve as a resource to others for routine recruiting/hiring questions and the resolution of complex problems.
Participate in the evaluation of organizational training needs and works with technical experts to identify sources or design, develop, implement, and deliver learning initiatives that meet the needs of team members.
Collaborate with external training vendors on delivery of customized programs and courses.
Administer training through the Learning Management System (LMS); provide LMS user training and support.
Maintain training records and ensure employees complete required training.
Maintain training calendar and all course materials.
Serve as point of contact for employee training requests and questions.
Evaluate training effectiveness with surveys, interviews, and other methods in consultation with appropriate Management including Senior Leadership; use feedback to revise and improve training programs.
Enroll new hires/participants and remove terminated team members from benefit plans.
Trigger COBRA notifications as required and monitor for coverage elections and premium payments.
Reconcile benefit census monthly to ensure coverage accuracy.
Remain current in effective and efficient recruiting and training techniques as well as benefit administration HR systems.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
Operate standard office equipment and use required software applications.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of :
Effective and efficient sourcing and recruiting techniques in a professional services environment.
Effective techniques in the identification, development and delivery of training content and materials.
Effective and efficient survey creation and evaluation.
Benefit and COBRA administration.
Skill in :
Operating HRMS/LMS/Applicant tracking systems. Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferred.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including Microsoft Office/Teams.
Ability to :
Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.
Facilitate meetings, ensuring that all viewpoints, ideas and problems are addressed.
Read, interpret, analyze and apply information from recruiting and training initiatives to improve processes and procedures.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements: Required Disciplines: Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
Licenses/Certifications: Licenses/Certifications Required at Date of Hire: None, SRHM‑CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR a plus.
Working Conditions: Hours:
Normal business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
