We are seeking an experienced
Senior Construction Superintendent
to lead ground-up industrial and tilt-wall projects across the Phoenix area. This role is ideal for a hands‑on, results‑driven professional with a proven ability to manage large‑scale industrial developments from groundbreaking through final turnover. The ideal candidate excels at coordinating large teams, driving schedules, enforcing safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and on budget.
As the on‑site leader, the Superintendent will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, owners, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations and successful project delivery. This position is perfect for a construction professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and has a strong track record of managing tilt‑wall and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily field operations for ground‑up industrial and tilt‑wall construction projects
Schedule, manage, and coordinate subcontractors to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and contractual obligations
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules; identify potential delays and implement corrective measures to keep projects on track
Enforce strict safety practices, conduct toolbox talks, perform jobsite safety audits, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality of work, and adherence to design plans
Oversee procurement, material delivery sequencing, staging, and equipment logistics to support schedule efficiency
Partner with project management to monitor budgets, labor productivity, cost trends, and change orders; provide solutions to maintain financial objectives
Mentor and lead field personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Review construction plans, tilt‑wall shop drawings, RFIs, and specifications for accuracy and code compliance
Serve as the primary on‑site contact for owners, inspectors, and external stakeholders, maintaining professional communication
Prepare thorough daily, weekly, and monthly reports documenting progress, manpower, inspections, safety metrics, and productivity
Resolve field issues promptly by coordinating with subcontractors and design teams to maintain project momentum
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years as a Superintendent with substantial ground‑up industrial and tilt‑wall construction experience
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, building systems, tilt‑wall processes, and plan interpretation
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and decision‑making skills in fast‑paced environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with owners, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling platforms, documentation systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
