Department : Colorado Department of Revenue – Division of Motor Vehicles Location : Colorado Springs, Colorado The Division of Motor Vehicles is committed to delivering high‑quality service and fostering an inclusive culture. The DMV Advisor front desk role welcomes and directs customers, providing a friendly and efficient first point of contact at the Colorado Springs DMV office. Responsibilities
Act as the gatekeeper for the office to ensure a smooth workflow for employees and customers. Establish and maintain constructive interpersonal relationships with DMV staff and customers. Assist customers with the use of the appointment kiosk, website, online portal, or other DMV convenience services. Check customers in for appointments and other DMV interactions at the office. Work with walk‑in customers to provide the best possible customer experience. Organize the customer workflow for the office. Conduct vision testing as needed. Provide administrative support to the Driver License office, including contacting customers, reviewing source documents, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, and assisting with office support tasks such as stocking and cleaning the greeter station. Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year of customer service or receptionist experience, or equivalent education plus experience. Must be a resident of Colorado, use a Colorado address and possess a Colorado State‑issued driver’s license at the time of application. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a regulated work environment with laws, rules, and regulations in place. Excellent customer‑service and conflict‑resolution skills. Problem‑solving, detail‑oriented, and strong written communication. Computer and data entry skills. Ability to work in a high‑stress environment while maintaining a professional attitude. Collaboration and teamwork skills. Employment Details
