Marketing & Leasing Coordinator
University City Housing (UCH) is a Philadelphia‑based firm that buys, renovates, maintains, and manages real estate for long‑term investment. With over 4,000 residential units and 250,000 square feet of commercial space in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, UCH has provided quality apartment homes and places to work since 1967.
What You Will Be Doing This full‑time role emphasizes excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly. The primary responsibility is to support the marketing department with a range of tasks and to lease apartments through product demonstrations and follow‑ups. We offer thorough training programs to support ongoing sales, service, and technical skills development. Prior experience in hospitality or retail sales and/or customer service is considered a plus.
Duties
Leasing activities and administration including scheduling appointments, conducting tours, and preparing lease paperwork.
Communicate effectively with prospective and current tenants in person, over the phone, and by written correspondence (email, website, and social media).
Write engaging content for email blasts, blogs, and social media posts.
Create flyers as requested by site teams.
Assist with organization and execution of events and promotional activities.
Build partnerships with local businesses to provide value to residents.
Support other marketing and administrative tasks as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
College degree.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Flexibility with hours and days worked; weekend availability required.
Experience with Canva.
Social media platform experience, especially LinkedIn, is a plus.
