Surge Protection Sales Manager - (ERICO) North America Location: Tulsa, OK

Overview Join nVent, a global leader in electrical connection and protection solutions, to lead surge protection sales across North America. This role drives revenue growth, expands market share and delivers exceptional customer value through the ERICO Surge Brands.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategy while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team.

Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and stay competitive.

Build and maintain high‑level relationships with key accounts and lead market positioning across the US and Canada.

Drive revenue achievement, customer growth and conversion through various channels, including panel shops, contractors, specifiers and installers.

Collaborate with local reps, managers and product teams to ensure product fit and market alignment.

Negotiate and lead high‑level contracts for key accounts.

Act as the voice of the customer, partnering with support functions to shape product strategy.

Lead surge strategy across multiple sales organizations and mentor sales teams on application‑based selling.

Support on‑site surveys and engineering workshops, driving opportunity identification.

Coordinate local agent and distribution market training, pricing initiatives, inventory management and marketing promotions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical electrical sales experience.

5+ years in technical electrical sales, selling to contractors, panel shops and OEMs.

Experience building and leading both inside and outside sales teams.

Proven ability to develop value‑based selling skills and negotiate customer solutions.

Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.

Flexible work arrangement: remote from US home office with 50% travel expected, including overnight trips; valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally.

Physically capable of navigating construction project sites.

Pay Transparency Total target cash range (base salary + sales incentive) for this position varies by region:

Region A: $114,500 – $212,600

Region B: $119,200 – $221,400

Region C: $130,100 – $241,500

Additional performance‑based incentives may apply.
