About the Role
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new Future Electronics customers while maintaining and delighting current customers within your local geography. You will manage all aspects of customer engagement, including the customer’s demand schedule, credit issues, quote management, and product knowledge. This role is pivotal in the success of our business. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with customers while meeting and surpassing assigned sales goals. Seek out new opportunities, reactivate dormant accounts, and connect with current and potential customers to generate sales revenue. Set objectives with local management and determine appropriate customer calls to be made. Complete pre‑call preparation and qualify potential customers. Work collaboratively with branch management and inside sales teams on customer visits. Qualifications
University degree an asset, or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of sales experience (bonus points if you’ve worked in the electronics distribution industry). Strong communication and relationship‑building skills. Results‑oriented work ethic and ability to perform under pressure. Desire to delight customers – you anticipate customer needs and exceed expectations. Preferred Skills
Negotiation skills – you have the ability to persuade and influence. English written and spoken. Excellent Excel skills – you are familiar with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. Benefits
