Who you are...
You have a strong background in designing and executing menus, managing kitchen operations, cultivating emerging talent, and mentoring culinary associates. A proven ability to create and maintain a budget and have the ability and desire to continuously reinvent yourself. This position calls for someone who has a passion for delivering excellence at all levels and who can thrive in a fast‑paced/high‑volume environment. High School Diploma or GED required; certification from a culinary institute or Associate degree in culinary arts preferred. A minimum of 3 years high volume cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant, senior living community, or similar institution and 2 years supervisory experience required.
What you will do...
Acts as the Executive Chef's second in command ensuring that staff is following all policies and procedures and that the product leaving the kitchen is of top quality. Assists with menu planning, recipe creation, and standardization. Schedules daily kitchen production and food preparation for on‑time service of meals.
