New Age Logistics
seeks an experienced Account Manager to act as the primary liaison between the company and its clients. The role focuses on driving value, retaining and growing revenue, and maintaining high client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Director of Operations to align customer strategies.
Provide quotes using industry analytics, market conditions, and historical data to calculate freight rates on a per load or contract basis.
Act as liaison between key customers and internal teams to identify new strategic customers.
Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
Maintain daily contact with all accounts.
Prospect new customers through email, cold calls, networking, and other channels.
Monitor the health of current accounts and balance the volume of your book.
Manage and mitigate account service‑related issues and failures.
Drive engagement success and overall client satisfaction.
Establish, maintain, and grow customer relationships.
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Grow account revenue while maintaining or exceeding defined quotas.
Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure customer requests are fulfilled.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Account management experience.
Experience managing multiple customers simultaneously.
Strong customer sales ability and capacity to multitask operational tasks.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and strong typing skills.
Effective negotiation skills.
Data analysis skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to efficiently pivot from one task to another throughout the day.
Team player with ability to influence execution.
Eager to learn and open to different methods of execution.
Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English in a professional manner.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
1+ years of logistics sales and operations experience.
Bilingual, English/Spanish.
