Job Posting Title: Customer Service Agent, FTZ Administrator

SUMMARY The Customer Service Agent manages client inquiries and ensures quality response in a timely fashion. Coordinates with the client, internal DSV teams and external partners to meet and exceed customer expectations while achieving DSV Transportation Management’s internal goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle inquiries and provide information; primary point of contact with the customer.

Provide expediting, tracing and POD support as required.

Resolve issues raised by the customer quickly and efficiently.

Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.

Become proficient in all DSV Transportation‑supported operations at the facility.

Document cost avoidance and savings attained.

Work on special projects and assignments as needed.

Review and submit weekly estimates and the weekly entry 3461’s and 7501’s.

Track and monitor 214 admissions and customs entries to ensure timely processing and resolve any issues or delays.

Communicate with customs officials, brokers and other stakeholders to resolve any customs‑related inquiries or problems.

Enter and review withdrawals for exportation and IT (QP/WP CBP Forms 7512).

Ensure all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual FTZ forms and reports necessary for FTZ operations are submitted and reviewed for accuracy.

Monitor FTZ operations end to end, including daily processing zone transactions.

Operate the FTZ inventory control and record‑keeping system.

Communicate with warehouse personnel for inventory discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records of customs transactions and documentation for audit purposes.

Provide annual FTZ reports (Yearly Blanket CBP form 216, Annual Reconciliation, Certification Letter, FTZ Board Report).

Provide guidance and support to colleagues on FTZ‑related matters.

OTHER DUTIES

Support implementation, account management and customer during account set‑up.

Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) as assigned.

Perform other duties as required.

Listen and comprehend instructions.

Work independently while recognizing the need to be part of a team.

Organize high volume of paperwork.

Maintain a can‑do attitude at work every day.

Assist coworkers with projects willingly.

Demonstrate a strong work ethic, putting company needs ahead of personal ambition.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma.

2 years of experience in a logistics, customer service or related field.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Computer Skills: Proficient typing and PC skills; proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.

Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal).

Mathematical Skills: Intermediate.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

College degree.

3 years of experience in a logistics, customer service or related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee uses hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. Employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements include close and distance vision. Must be able to travel by plane and automobile (if applicable).

COMPA & BASIC PAY Expected base pay: $14.00–$19.00 per hour. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
