Vertical Market Manager - Southeast – Crestron Electronics

Overview This role is a commercial AV Vertical Market Manager that will join our Sales team in the Southeast territory. You will build and maintain strong relationships with end users and consultants across multiple verticals including higher education, K‑12, state and local municipal government, and enterprise accounts, driving sales growth in your region (Georgia, North/South Carolina, Tennessee). You will manage the full life cycle of a sale, identify new opportunities and collaborate with internal support resources.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop opportunities, collaborate with the sales team to provide solutions, drive business back to the reseller channel and assist in closing the sale.

Hunt for new education accounts, develop and maintain business within existing accounts and manage complex sales situations and large projects.

Perform business forecasting, pipeline development and account management.

Develop an executive annual plan for new business development and growth of existing accounts in line with company strategy.

Develop business relationships with all levels of management across verticals.

Train end users and consultants on Crestron product road maps and technology products to advance market solutions.

Leverage technical background to develop accounts and sell project‑based, hardware and/or software systems solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience with commercial audio‑visual and/or unified communications/conferencing solutions in a technical capacity.

Proven track record of sales experience with consultants and end users.

Self‑motivated with a proven record of sales to small and large institutions.

Effective communication skills with consultants and engineers.

Experience using sales CRM and forecasting software – Salesforce CRM preferred.

Willingness to develop working knowledge of Crestron’s products and software.

Knowledge of procurement and budgeting processes, policies, IT procurement requirements and facilities management within a large organization.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 60% of the time.

College/university degree preferred.

Must live within the Southeast region (Georgia, North/South Carolina, Tennessee).
