Overview
Los Angeles Company seeks a self‑motivated Account Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to join its growing team.
In this role you will be responsible for targeting prospective new clients as well as working with existing clients to help them grow their online marketing efforts. You will oversee client accounts from initial enrollment through ongoing consulting, building relationships, negotiating, and analyzing marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
Support affiliate management and sales team as needed
Negotiate payment terms, CPA pricing, and any billing discrepancies
Create and manage client contracts and legal documents related to advertisers as needed
Deliver proactive account management by providing business solutions to clients and offering methods of increasing revenue
Assist affiliate management team with traffic optimization
Set up, maintain, and assist in the production of advertiser campaigns
Manage numerous clients via email, IM, and phone interactions on a daily basis
Deal with issues that may arise with a sense of urgency
Knowledge of all facets of the network, including product, campaigns, pricing, performance stats, and competitive landscape
Make use of available reports and statistics in order to make strategic and business decisions
Monitor compliance and traffic sources on active client campaigns
Ensure accuracy of daily advertiser reporting and reconciling month‑end revenue
Track and record client data, business metrics, pipeline opportunities, ongoing communication and changes in CRM system
Maintain, retain, and build relationships with existing clients
Identify and launch new campaigns with existing clients
Monitor and service existing accounts through proactive calls and follow up
Research competition, competitive issues, products, and industry trends
Occasional travel to industry conferences
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Advertising, or Business preferred but not required)
At least 1 year experience in a support, sales or marketing field, preferably in online space
Experienced use of Microsoft Excel & Outlook, and confident navigating all aspects of the internet
Confident demeanor and high comfort level interacting with all personality types
Be able to demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong analytical skillsDesire to learn and ability to adapt to change
Proficiency working within Hitpath and Salesforce a plus
Compensation This role provides a salary commensurate with experience and a commission plan on managed accounts with opportunity for growth.
