Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year Line Cook experience required

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, interpret recipes, and understand conversions required

Experience cooking in a Fine Dining Establishment Highly Preferred

Completion of High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent

Essential Job Duties

Prepares ingredients for entrees, sets up workstation, and cooks menu items according to the guest specification- while also meeting health/safety guidelines.

Prepares and serves various foods in assigned work situations including pantry, sauces, poultry, fish, and meat items.

Able to comfortably cook on various stations including fry, sauté, grill, and oven.

Follows proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time, materials, and equipment to avoid unnecessary expenses and food waste.
