Description

Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings and create personalized treatment plans

Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function

Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Instruct patients and families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise programs

Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards

Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to guarantee coordinated care efforts

Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

State licensure as a

Physical Therapist

CPR certification preferred

Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

Prior experience strongly preferred
