Description

Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and create tailored treatment strategies

Implement physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, strength, balance, and functionality

Engage with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and physicians, to maximize patient outcomes

Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home care practices

Keep detailed progress notes and treatment records that comply with facility and regulatory standards

Participate actively in care team meetings to facilitate cohesive patient care

Education

Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

Active state licensure as a

Physical Therapist

CPR certification preferred

Specialization certifications (e.g., geriatric, neurological) are a bonus but not mandatory

Skills

Strong preference for candidates with previous experience

Ability to address patients with complex medical and mobility challenges

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
