Key Responsibilities Client Support & Loan Applications

Guide borrowers through the loan application process, explaining required information and qualification criteria.

Take complete applications and collect all initial documentation.

Run credit reports, loan pricing, and DU findings.

Generate MI quotes (if needed) for loan files.

Explain loan terms, policies, and product options in clear, simple language.

Provide current loan rate information upon request.

Request loan disclosures for pre-approvals or contracts.

Assist clients in reviewing and signing disclosures.

Loan File Management

Complete origination milestones in Encompass and submit documentation to processing.

Ensure files include all required documents before handing off to the processor (e.g., tax returns, IDs, bank statements, income docs, award letters, DD214s, and explanation letters).

Lock loans when ready and notify the processor and disclosure desk.

Hold weekly pipeline review meetings with the processor and Loan Officer.

Provide weekly updates to realtors and referral partners.

Monitor loan progress and coordinate with processors, underwriters, and other staff.

Operational Excellence

Attend and complete all required training.

Stay up to date on lending guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulations.

Maintain all licensing requirements.

Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

3+ years of mortgage lending experience.

2+ years as a production Loan Partner preferred.

Strong knowledge of mortgage products and loan types.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to manage 30–60 active applications per month.

Ability to work well under pressure.

Outstanding work ethic and time management.

Preferred

Bachelor’s or associate degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, or a related field.

Encompass experience.

Bilingual in English/Spanish.
