Account Manager – Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Location: Greater Chicago Area | Territory Focus: North America

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Account Manager to lead the expansion of cutting-edge Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions across North America. This role is ideal for someone passionate about enterprise software, manufacturing innovation, and building strong client relationships to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Revenue Growth

– Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets for MES offerings.

Build Relationships

– Cultivate trusted relationships with decision‑makers at manufacturing companies across diverse industries.

Identify Opportunities

– Proactively generate and qualify leads through cold outreach, referrals, events, and networking initiatives.

Solution Selling

– Conduct needs assessments and propose tailored MES solutions that address customer challenges and business goals.

Manage Sales Cycle

– Own the end-to‑end sales process—from first contact through proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.

Product Expertise

– Develop and maintain a strong understanding of MES technology, capabilities, and real‑world manufacturing applications.

Market Intelligence

– Stay current with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to sharpen positioning and messaging.

Internal Collaboration

– Partner with pre‑sales engineers, product management, and implementation teams to ensure successful onboarding and solution deployment.

Qualifications

Experience

– 3+ years in enterprise software sales with a focus on manufacturing technologies; MES experience is REQUIRED.

Technical Acumen

– Able to grasp complex software concepts and clearly communicate value to both technical and executive audiences.

– Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities independently.

Relationship Management

– Skilled in engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C‑suite executives.

Work Authorization

– U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder required.
